WEST ORANGE, NJ (updated Monday Nov. 5, 2:02 p.m.) – The West Orange High School boys’ cross-country team finished fourth out of 18 teams in the boys’ team standings at the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 1, Group 4 State Championships held at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Sophomore Senay Dani finished 14th in a time of 17:17 and freshman Shane Bosnan took 20th in 17:24 to lead WOHS, which qualified for the NJSIAA Group 4 State Championships this Saturday, Nov. 10 at Holmdel Park.
On the girls’ side, WOHS finished 10th out of 16 teams, led by senior Alina Chant, who was 23rd in 21:30.
