WEST ORANGE, NJ – The West Orange High School varsity football team featured six players who earned All-Super Football Conference-Liberty Blue Division honors this season.
On the First Team Defense are senior linebacker Kevan McLaughlin, senior defensive back Jordan White and senior lineman Femy Diomande.
The Second Team Defense includes sophomore defensive back Dorian Rawls and senior defensive back Terrence Toussaint.
Senior defensive end Nate Dalger is an Honorable Mention selection.
The Mountaineers finished with a 3-7 record, including qualifying for the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 1, Group 5 state playoffs in which they lost to top-seeded Montclair, 35-0, in the quarterfinals to finish the season. WOHS defeated Montclair, 26-19, at home in the season opener on August 30. That win was viewed by many as a huge upset. Montclair was coming off an undefeated state championship season. This season Montclair came up short in its bid for a second straight sectional title, falling to Ridgewood in the final.
