WEST ORANGE, NJ – The West Orange High School varsity football team fell to undefeated Bloomfield, 29-7, Friday, Oct. 1, at Foley Field in Bloomfield under rainy conditions.
The Mountaineers fell to 1-3. Bloomfield improved to 4-0.
Michael Osuji scored on a 1-yard run and Ryan Carraha kicked point-after for the Mountaineers to cut the lead to 8-7 in the third quarter.
But Bloomfield took control the rest of the way.
The Mountaineers will visit Morristown this Saturday, Oct. 8, 1 p.m. WOHS beat Morristown in last year’s season finale.
