West Orange HS girls’ basketball team improves to 4-3

WEST ORANGE, NJ – Junior guard Mya Bembry had 22 points, 13 rebounds, six steals, four assists and three blocks to lead the West Orange High School girls’ varsity basketball team to a 52-36 win at Nutley on Jan. 3 to improve to 4-3.

Junior guard Bianca Fede had seven points, five assists and four steals; senior forward Madison Mitchell had six points and six steals; freshman guard Mackenzie Dover and sophomore guard Davionna Phillips each had four points; senior guard Shayna Fortfoskey had three points and sophomore guard Natalie Nevins, senior forward Aliya Perkins and freshman guard Kaya Schultz each scored two points.
