West Orange HS girls’ basketball team is No. 8 seed in Essex County Tournament

BLOOMFIELD – The West Orange High School girls’ basketball team is seeded No. 8 in the 42nd Essex County Tournament and will host No. 9 Bloomfield in the first round on Feb. 13. The winner will visit No. 1 seed and defending champion East Orange Campus in the quarterfinals. WOHS fell to East Orange Campus, 56-42, Jan. 28, at home. Dawn Flood had 11 points for WOHS in a 57-48 loss at Union, Feb. 1. WOHS moved to a 5-8 record.
