WEST ORANGE, NJ – The West Orange High School girls’ varsity soccer team was off to a 1-0-1 start to the season.
Freshman Natalie Nevins had one goal and one assist; junior Kaylese Gist had a goal and senior Anabella Sculer added an assist in the 2-0 win at Verona on Sept. 10. Junior goalie Samamtha Herbert made three saves for WOHS.
Nevins and Schuler each had a goal and sophomore Mya Bembry had an assist in the 2-2 tie with Bloomfield on Sept. 12 at West Orange. Herbert made one save.
