WEST ORANGE, NJ – The West Orange High School girls’ varsity volleyball team concluded a great season.
The Lady Mountaineers, under head coach Jackie Cruz, finished as Super Essex Conference-Colonial Division champions with a perfect 12-0 mark in the division.
WOHS had a 21-7 overall final record after losing Westfield, 18-25, 8-25, in the first round of the state Group 4 tournament on Nov. 2 in Westfield. WOHS was seeded 27th. Westfield is the No. 6 seed.
