West Orange HS lacrosse team falls in ECT

WEST ORANGE – The West Orange High School boys’ varsity lacrosse team, seeded 10th, lost at seventh-seeded Millburn, 17-4, in the first round of the Essex County Tournament on April 30 to move to a 7-5 record.

Andrew DiPalma had four goals and six assists and Marshall Lipsey had three goals and three assists to lead WOHS to a 18-4 home win over Edison on April 27. Alan Benson had three goals and one assist; Isaac Arowosaye had one goal and one assist; and Ben Afolabi, Dylan Cowley, Antonio Pereira, Christian Pozzoli, Thaveesh Silva and Josh Strauss each had a goal. EJ Akerblom had an assist and Brian Crann and O’Keefe Virgo each made four saves.
