West Orange’s Olivia Prescott is joined by her parents, John Prescott and Veronique Watkins, during a ceremony in which she signs with Rutgers University.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange High School track-and-field standout Olivia Prescott signed with Rutgers University on a track-and-field scholarship in a ceremony held in the school’s Library Media Center on Dec. 10. Family, friends and coaches gathered to celebrate Prescott’s accomplishments. Olivia’s dad, John Prescott, is a track-and-field coach at the high school.
