West Orange resident Camille McPherson leads Moravian College women’s basketball team to fine season

WEST ORANGE – West Orange resident and former Mount Saint Dominic High School basketball standout Camille McPherson enjoyed an outstanding season for the Moravian College (Bethlehem, Pa.) women’s basketball team.

McPherson, a 5-foot-10 junior forward, scored a game-high 23 points in the 70-60 first-round upset of 14th-ranked University of New England in the NCAA Division 3 tournament on March 4.

McPherson had a team-high 13 points in the second round, but Moravian lost to Tufts University, 65-45, March 5.
In 27 games this season, McPherson averaged a team-high 14.4 points along with 5.4 rebounds per game. Moravian finished with a 20-8 record.

McPherson also was named to the Landmark All-Conference second team
