Efforts growing to link Boonton line to 9-11 trail
Bloomfield resident Susan Hebert at the site of the old Boonton line, looking west from Benson Street, Glen Ridge. Hebert advocated for ‘Ice and Iron’ — converting the unused track area into a recreational pathway. Although that did not come to fruition, another proposal may convert the area to part of the 911 Memorial Trail.
