First Easter celebrated without Rev. Ron

Ron Christian, longtime pastor of Christian Love Baptist Church on Lyons Avenue, participate in the dedication ceremony for the commemorative bench at the church on Easter Sunday, March 27, during the first 'Resurrection Day' service since his untimely death in November. The bench is actually the old one that had been in place for years, where Rev. Ron had impromptu counseling sessions with congregation members and others, in addition to ministering to their various needs. Mother Tee and other members of the congregation said the old bench was refurbished in honor or Rev. Ron and it was officially dedicated to his life, legacy and ministry during the Easter Sunday 11 a.m. service.
