WEST ORANGE, NJ — On Monday, Oct. 16, the West Orange High School Mountaineer Mentors assisted West Orange senior residents in taking the township’s Senior Citizen Survey. In all, approximately 20 seniors and 40 students participated. Afterward the residents were instructed by WOHS teacher Mallory DeMarco in a session of chair yoga.

If you have a survey out please return them to the West Orange Public Library or Town Hall or contact the Health Department at 973-325-4105 by Oct. 31. You may also still participate online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WestOrange55Survey. All seniors ages 55 and older are urged to complete the survey.

This needs-assessment survey — available in English and Spanish — is provided through the West Orange Health Department, mainly funded by a grant from The Partners for Health Foundation, located in Montclair. The survey was developed in conjunction with Montclair State University Center for Research and Evaluation on Education and Human Services or CREEHS and the results will be evaluated by the MSU team.
