Gone but not forgotten

IRVINGTON, NJ — A member of Christian Love Baptist Church on Lyons Avenue in Irvington holds up a CLBC Strong button, for sale on Thursday, Dec. 31, at the church during the New Year’s Eve prayer service and vigil that takes place annually to welcome in the New Year at midnight. This was the first service leading into 2016 since the death of Rev. Ron Christian on Friday, Oct. 30, and, though he wasn’t there in person, everyone in attendance agreed he was there in spirit.
