Irvington Neighborhood Improvement Corporation hosts Christmas Giveaway

IRVINGTON, NJ — The Irvington Neighborhood Improvement Corporation will be hosting an annual Christmas Giveaway for Irvington residents with children on Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The festivities will take place at the Irvington Neighborhood Improvement Corporation, 346 16th Ave., Irvington. Attendees must be pre-registered to receive gifts.

“There will be a joyous time had by our residents with children” said Mayor Tony Vauss.
“I will be working with INIC to make sure our children have the opportunity to enjoy Christmas in Irvington.”
“INIC is excited to be able to bring Christmas joy to families and children,” said Irvington Neighborhood Improvement Corporation’s executive director, Deborah Simpkins.

“For Irvington families with children who would otherwise find it difficult to provide gifts to their children for Christmas and the holidays, this should be a very exciting event.

“Pre-registration is required. In order to pre-register, participants will need to provide a birth certificate for their children, social security cards, proof of entire household income, a photo ID and proof that they live in Irvington.”
The registration period is now through Friday, Dec. 18.
