IRVINGTON, NJ — Mayor Tony Vauss will be convening the Mayor Tony Vauss Inaugural Business Summit on Friday, March 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 50 Union Ave., Irvington. The event is open to business owners in the township and will provide an opportunity for the participants to receive information about the services and resources the township can provide to assist them in developing their businesses and enhancing services to the consumers who frequent the township. There will be educational workshops, as well as a Director’s Roundtable. The roundtable will provide a unique opportunity for the business community to better understand how various municipal departments can work with them to enhance businesses and the products or services provided.
“From the beginning of my term as mayor, it has been my goal to first make Irvington cleaner and safer, so that people want to live, work and have their businesses in Irvington,” said Vauss. “I have been successful in delivering on the increased cleanliness and safety of the township, so now I am building upon that foundation and adding economic and business development to my focus. I am excited about my Inaugural Business Summit and the partnerships that will be strengthened and forged between government and businesses.”
Although registration will be allowed at the door if space is still available, it is strongly suggested that anyone interested in attending this dynamic event pre-register by contacting Irvington’s Business and Workforce Development Center at 973-399-6658 or [email protected].
