IRVINGTON, NJ — The third annual Casino Night will be on Thursday, April 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Irvington Senior Center, 1077 Springfield Ave. Guests will receive dinner and play games on professional casino tables, with authentic Atlantic City dealers, while being serenaded with live music. Seniors will have a chance to win gifts such as flat screen televisions, gift cards and a wide range items. All of the expenses are being paid for by the mayor, members of Township Council and members of the township administration, from their personal funds. Taxpayer money is not being used for the event. Real money is not being used for the games.
“This is our third year for hosting this event for our seniors,” said Mayor Tony Vauss. “Last year, we had about 250 seniors come and enjoy the night. This casino night will be even bigger and better than ever. As I promised our seniors last year, this will be an annual event, so get ready for Casino Night No. 3!”
