WEST ORANGE, NJ — Pleasantdale Seniors is starting its 41st year on Wednesday, Sept. 13. The group’s meetings are held at the United Presbyterian Church, 20 Old Indian Road in West Orange, at 11:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of the month from September to June. The church has parking and handicapped access. New members are always welcome. Bring your lunch and enjoy free coffee, tea and dessert.
Social activities include entertainment, bingo and presentations on health, legal, safety and financial matters. Members also enjoy day trips to luncheon shows, shore excursions, plays, holiday parties, C.I.A. and more. Multi-day trips have been to Cape Cod, Wildwood, Ocean City in Maryland, Virginia Beach and N.Y. Dude Ranches.
