Pledge and learn to protect LGBT seniors

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Garden State Equality, a statewide advocacy and education organization for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, will offer a free entry-level training course, “Introduction to the Health Care Needs of the LGBT Population,” to organizations serving older adults on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Green Hill, 103 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange.
