WOSEPAC meeting

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange Special Education Advisory Council will meet Monday, Nov. 21, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 203 of the Board of Education building at 179 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange.

WOSEPAC encourages families of West Orange students with special needs or students eligible for or receiving services under an IEP or 504 plan to attend meetings. At the Nov. 21 meeting, attendees will learn about WOSEPAC, meet current WOSEPAC officers and other parent committee members, give input to WOSEPAC, receive a list of community resources, give ideas for future educational presentations, and hear a summary of issues submitted to the superintendent and his response as the result of three public meetings last year.

For more information, contact Chairwoman Ellen Gilio at [email protected].

For parents of SN kids who can’t attend tonight, is there any way to receive information about the meeting agenda, or meeting results, conclusions, etc?

    Hi Lewis,
If you contact Chairwoman Ellen Gilio at [email protected], she can provide you with that information and information on how to stay informed. Additionally, the West Orange Chronicle will continue to print information about WOSEPAC.
    Thanks.
