Green elected mayor overwhelmingly in East Orange

Green got 99.89 percent of the 10,365 votes cast with 11 write-ins, while Leneus defeated fellow registered Democrat Mayme Robinson by getting 77.46 percent of the votes cast or 1,962 compared to her 570 votes. There was also one write-in vote in the 3rd Ward City Council race.
