Fourth of July activities in Maplewood included a dog parade and costume contest. The parade included one very brave cat while the dog costume contest was won by Deputy Mayor Jamaine Cripe’s dog. .
An ice cream eating contest was held inside the DeHart Community Center. There were numerous categories for the kids ranging in age up to 18. The adult contest was won by Bill Timlin.
