IRVINGTON – Irvington High School varsity wrestler Tyhmir Lassister took second in the 182-pound class at the Essex County Tournament, Jan. 21-22, at Richard J. Codey Arena in West Orange.
Terrell Ashman (106-pound class) and Donchard Jean-Paul (195) each finished third; Carl Napoleon (285) took fourth; Jerwin Martilus (170) and Franklin Fervil (120) each took sixth; and Clearson Xavier (126) and Jefferson Jean-Paul (132) each took seventh for the Blue Knights, who finished seventh in the team standings among the 21 teams.
