LIVINGSTON, NJ — Reaching Into Self-Empowerment, or RISE, workshops are being offered to women in December at the Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women. These single-session workshops will provide women experiencing life transitions with education and skills to reach their goals and eliminate unnecessary self-defeating thoughts.
“Goal Getting,” which will help participants set goals and make positive changes in their lives, will be Dec. 5; “Transforming Fear,” which will show how to use fears in a healthy way to reach your full potential, will be Dec. 12; and “Positive Self-Affirmations,” which will enable you to identify positive traits to become your own cheerleader, will be Dec. 19.
These workshops will be held at NCJW/Essex Center for Women in Livingston, 70 South Orange Ave., Suite 120, from 10:30 a..m. to noon.
