EAST ORANGE, NJ – Dwight Pressley and Supreme Cook each scored 12 points, but the 18th-seeded East Orange Campus High School boys’ varsity basketball team lost at 15th-seeded West Orange, 63-55, in the Essex County Tournament first round on Friday, Feb. 10.
Michael Moody had 11 points; Randy Joseph scored seven; Justin Singh-Smth contributed five points; Mekhi Chester chipped in three points and Rahmer Kinney and Obi Madaubuchi each added two points for the Jaguars, who moved to a 4-15 record.
In their previous game, the Jaguars lost to Immaculate Conception of Montclair, 68-49, Feb. 7, in a Super Essex Conference-American Division game at EOCHS. Chester had 14 points; Madaubuchi had 10 points; Cook contributed eight points and Daveon Davis added seven points for the Jaguars.
