BELLEVILLE, NJ – Belleville High School’s new athletic director, Marcellino Marra, is excited about leading the Buccaneers athletic department as the 2017-18 school year begins in a few weeks.
Marra comes over from nearby Nutley High School where he served as the head boys’ varsity soccer coach for the past 11 seasons. He was previously an assistant coach for the program.
Marra, a Nutley High School graduate, also was a history teacher at Nutley Middle School.
In a statement to EssexNewsDaily.com on Monday, August 21, Marra said, “I am honored to be the Athletic Director at Belleville High School and I look forward to working with all stakeholders in community to provide opportunities for success both athletically and academically to all student-athletes.”
