NUTLEY, NJ — The third annual Taste of the World, a fundraiser sponsored by the Nutley Music Boosters Association, was an affair to remember, filled with live music, international entertainment, a 50/50 raffle, tricky tray, and food, lots of food, provided by nine local restaurants and eateries. And wine. Don’t forget the wine, that was delicious and plentiful.
The event was held Friday, Jan. 19 at the spacious Parks and Recreation building on Park Avenue and the big, friendly and at times boisterous crowd kept the party hopping until late into the night. All in all, it was a great night for a good cause with friendly faces and good company. The Music Boosters provide scholarships at the elementary and middle school to enable students to attend the Summer Music Instructional Program and, for
seniors who have been active in the NHS music programs, college scholarships.
