WEST ORANGE, NJ — The following are several announcements regarding upcoming special days and programs in West Orange:
- Visit www.westorange.org for the 2016 leaf collection schedule or call 973-325-4067 for more information.
- Municipal clerk office hours office hours will be extended on Oct. 18 until 8 p.m. for late-night voter registration.
- Mayor Parisi will hold open office hours — no appointment necessary — on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Come to discuss your concerns and ideas.
- On Election Day, Nov. 8, all municipal offices will be closed. The regular trash, recycling and jitney schedule remains unaffected.
- Observe Veterans Day on Nov. 11 at War Memorial Park at 11 a.m. All municipal offices will be closed that day. The regular trash, recycling and jitney schedule remains unaffected.
- On Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 24 and 25, all municipal offices will be closed. On Thursday, Nov. 24, there will be no trash pickup and no jitney service. On Nov. 25, while there will be regular trash pickup, there will be no jitney service.
