BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield High School boys basketball team defeated Northern Highlands, 51-38, on Jan. 13 at home. With the win, the Bengals improved to 7-1 on the season.
Senior guard Julian Paulino had 22 points, four assists and one steal; junior guard Shayne Hinton had 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal; senior forward Seth Edwards contributed 7 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block; senior guard Isaiah Cortes posted 6 points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal; senior guard Ram Gotrasse had three rebounds and one assist; senior guard Isaiah Ortiz had 2 points, three rebounds and one assist; and senior forward Uma Kalu had one point, five rebounds, and two assists.
