GLEN RIDGE, NJ – Lucas Burke and Cole Travia each scored a goal for a 2-0 halftime lead as the top-seeded Glen Ridge High School boys’ varsity soccer team defeated eighth-seeded North Arlington in the quarterfinals of the state North Jersey Section 2, Group 1 tournament on Nov. 3 at Watsessing Park.
Gaetan Ternes had an assist and Quinn Allemand made seven saves for the Ridgers, who improved to a 13-5-1 record and will host fifth-seeded Ridgefield in the semifinals on Monday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. at Watsessing Park. The winner will face the winner between second-seeded Dayton and sixth-seeded Roselle Park in the final on Nov. 10.
