GLEN RIDGE – The Glen Ridge High School boys’ varsity tennis team received the No. 1 seed in the state North Jersey Section 2, Group 1 tournament.
The Ridgers will host a quarterfinal round match on May 16 against the winner of No. 9 seed Dunellen and No. 8 seed Verona. Hasbrouck Heights is the No. 2 seed.
The semifinals are May 19 and the final is May 23. The Ridgers had a 15-3 record through May 9.
