GLEN RIDGE, NJ — The Glen Ridge High School girls tennis had a good run in the North Jersey Section 2, Group 1 state tournament.
The fourth-seeded Ridgers defeated 13th-seeded Weehawken, 5-0, Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the first round and fifth-seeded Rutherford, 3-2, Friday, Oct. 4, in the quarterfinals before losing at top-seeded Leonia, 4-1, in the semifinals on Thursday, Oct. 10 to move to a 6-10 record.
