MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The 17th-seeded Columbia High School boys soccer team defeated No. 16 seed Cedar Grove, 2-1, in double overtime in an Essex County Tournament preliminary round game on Monday, Oct. 7, in Cedar Grove.
The Cougars, who improved to 2-9-2, will visit top-seeded Seton Hall Prep in West Orange in the first round today, Oct. 10, at 4 p.m. The quarterfinals are Saturday, Oct. 12.
