Zach Keller, Seton Hall Prep QB
Essex County players from the Worrall Media publishing area helped the North All-Stars to a 7-0 win over the South All-Stars in the 38th annual Phil Simms High School Senior All-Star Classic on June 27 at Kean University in Union.
Seton Hall Prep quarterback Zach Keller threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Pascack Valley’s Mike Pimpinella with 8:02 left in the first quarter for the only score of the game.
Keller, who set the career TD record at SHP, will play quarterback at Princeton University.
East Orange Campus High School defensive end Keneek Tomlinson was named the North All-Star Defensive Most Valuable Payer after recording three sacks, a blocked field-goal attempt and several tackles. Tomlinson will play at Monmouth University.
