Lederhosen and Dirndl were the dress of the day as the South Orange Elks Club hosted Elktoberfest at its lodge on Prospect Street. In addition to peppy polka music, the event included plenty of activities for children, including a bounce house. Pretzels, brats and beer were popular, as was the Smash Tent, which gave people a chance to throw and smash various glass items.
