WEST ORANGE, NJ — An Orange resident was shot to death in West Orange, just over the Orange-West Orange border, in the early morning hours of Thursday, Dec. 17.
West Orange police responded to a call of an unresponsive man outside 1 Joyce St. Naji Everett, 26, of Orange was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:30 a.m.
The Prosecutor’s Office told the Chronicle that no further information is available at this time, though the investigation is ongoing.
The West Orange Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the death. Anyone with information is asked to contact the task force at 877-847-7432.
