SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Essex will host an event titled “Let’s Talk Vegetable Gardening” at the South Orange Elks Rent Party Garden, 220 Prospect St. in South Orange, on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m.
The session, open to any vegetable gardener, will focus on achieving peak performance from your garden, including fall planting ideas, pest identification and control, plant diseases and care, watering, harvesting or any topic you bring. This a great opportunity for gardeners to get together in a garden, sit back and engage in informative conversation about vegetable gardening challenges, interests and practices. Bring your own lawn chair, rain or shine.
