BLOOMFIELD — The Bloomfield High School girls volleyball team won three straight matches, defeating Nutley, Science Park and East Orange Campus to improve to 4-6.
The Bengals defeated Nutley 25-21, 21-25, 25-9 on Sept. 22 at home. Junior Janelle Epitime had five kills, five digs and three assists. Senior Dayvin Bixel-Burman posted 14 digs and one assist. Senior Grace Belmonte recorded 16 assists and four digs. Junior Chideha Osondu had seven digs and two kills.
BHSdefeated Science Park 25-14, 25-14 on Sept. 23 at home. Bixel-Burman had 18 digs and one assist. Freshman Rowena Crovelli had seven kills and one dig. Belmonte had 18 assists and three digs. Osondu had nine kills and four digs. Epitime had three kills and one block.
Bloomfield defeated East Orange Campus 25-20, 25-13 at home on Sept. 28.
