BLOOMFIELD / IRVINGTON, NJ — The Bloomfield High School Bengals wrestling team defeated Irvington High School 42-33 on April 7.
Winning for the Bengals, Juan Millan pinned Zaire Younger at 3:38 in the 113-pound weight class; Jaiden Morales pinned Aveason Maxy at 2:55 in the 120-pound weight class; Gerald VanBaelen pinned Lorvey Toupuissant at 3:26 in the 126-pound weight class; Ramin B-Razavi pinned Malachi Purkett at 4:52 in the 138-pound weight class; Eishmel Dort won a 9-5 decision against Myckell Jackson in the 145-pound weight class; Christopher Kopacz won by forfeit in the 182-pound weight class; Zachary Andruchowitz won a 9-3 decision against Isaiah Augustin in the 195-pound weight class; and Dillon Jennings pinned Lensely Therlonge at 3:39 in the 220-pound weight class.
Winning for the Blue Knights, Rayvon Wilson pinned William Ungermah at 0:40 in the 106-pound weight class; Jayseon Turner pinned Yeicob Suriel at 2:16 in the 132-pound weight class; Demo Clenord won an 8-1 decision against Estuardo Lopez in the 152-pound weight class; Zaahmir Anderson pinned Damian Torres at 1:26 in the 160-pound weight class; Yvens Edmond pinned Milazim Maliqi at 1:40 in the 170-pound weight class; and Justin Evans won by forfeit in the 285-pound weight class.
