The following is an updated bracket for the North Jersey Section 1, Group 4 state tournament for high school girls’ varsity basketball, after Paterson Eastside was forced out of the tournament by the Paterson Public School District, which imposed penalties against the Eastside athletic department in the wake of an alleged system of allowing foreign players, who may have violated immigration laws, into its boys’ and girls’ programs since 2013, according to an online report.
Bloomfield will host Clifton; West Orange will host Bergen County Tech; and East Orange Campus will visit Morris Knolls.
