SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The South Mountain YMCA will hold Travel Basketball Tryouts for boys and girls.
The following is a schedule:
Grades 3 and 4
- Oct. 18 and 20, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at South Mountain Elementary School Gym, located at 444 W. South Orange Ave.
One team is selected.
Grades 5 and 6
- Oct. 16, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., at West Essex YMCA, located at 321 South Livingston Ave.
- Oct. 17 and Oct. 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Columbia High School West Gym.
Two teams are selected. Players must be in the fifth or sixth grade and born on or after Sept. 1, 2004.
Grade 7 and 8
- Oct. 12 and Oct. 13, from 8 to 9:15 p.m., at Columbia HS West Gym.
- Oct. 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at West Essex YMCA.
One team is selected. Players must be in the seventh or eighth grade and born on or after Sept. 1, 2002.
Birth certificate copies are required at tryouts for all teams.
