NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley High School Performing Arts will present four performances of the musical “Pippin” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and

Saturday, March 8 to 10, as well as a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, March 11. All performances will be held at Nutley High School, 300 Franklin Ave.
“Pippin” is a 1972 musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson. Choreographer Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, also contributed to the libretto. Through the premise of a mysterious performance troupe, “Pippin” tells the story of a young prince on his quest for meaning.

This NHS Performing Arts production features a cast of Nutley High School students as well as a live orchestra of students and professionals. The production staff includes Director Michael Gurrieri, Musical Director Nicole Monte, Assistant Director Eric Wdowiak, choreographer Daniela Stefanelli, set and lighting designer James Gardner, sound designer Henry Meola, art director Theresa Lappostato, vocal coach Christian Sebek, and stage manager Lois Jeong. Stage crew and production support are staffed by students and family volunteers.

Tickets for reserved seats are available for advance purchase online at fons.ludus.com.
Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door starting 60 minutes prior to each performance, subject to availability.
Pre-purchase of tickets is highly recommended.
