BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Although it’s difficult to consider the potential for an active-shooter incident in Bloomfield, accounting for these events in safety plans has the potential to save lives. On Aug. 20, the Bloomfield Police Department, Fire Department and EMS squad, in conjunction with Bloomfield College, performed an active-shooter drill at Schweitzer Hall.
