BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The third-seeded Bloomfield High School boys’ varsity volleyball team defeated 11th-seeded Wayne Hills, 25-12, 25-23, in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 1 state tournament, May 24, at BHS.
The Bengals, who improved to a 23-3 record, will visit second-seeded Lakeland in the semifinals, May 30, in a rematch of last year’s North 1 state semifinals won by Lakeland.
