East Orange Campus High School’s Justin Singh-Smith, No. 24, battles for the ball against Orange’s Kyle Robinson, No. 22 in the season opener Dec. 19 at EOCHS. The EOCHS Jaguars won, 62-48. The teams will meet in the 11th annual Orange HS M.L.K. Basketball Classic on Jan. 20.
ORANGE, NJ — The 11th annual Orange High School M.L.K. Basketball Classic will be held Jan. 20.
Here is the schedule:
Orange vs. West Side, girls, 11 a.m.
West Orange vs. Hillside, boys, 1 p.m.
Newark Tech vs. West Caldwell Tech, boys, 3 p.m.
Orange vs. East Orange Campus, boys, 5 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for regular admission and $3 for students and senior citizens, all for the entire day.
The EOCHS Jaguars defeated the OHS Tornadoes, 62-48, in the season opener Dec. 19 at EOCHS.
The Jaguars improved to 7-1 overall after beating Verona, 60-41, Tuesday, Jan. 7. The Tornadoes defeated North Star Academy, 58-41, Jan. 7 to improve to 3-5 overall.
