EAST ORANGE – The East Orange Campus High School boys’ indoor track and field team won the boys’ team title at the state North Jersey Section 2, Group 4 Championship meet on Feb. 13 at the Bennett Complex in Toms River.
The Jaguars amassed 54 team points. Piscataway was second with 35 points.
Akeem Lindo, a sophomore, won the 55-meter dash and was part of the winning 4×400-meter relay. Lindo also took second in both the 400-meter run and 55-meter hurdles.
Senior Charon Jenkins won the high jump for EOCHS.
On the girls’ side, EOCHS finished 10th overall.

400-meter run: Second place, Lindo, 51.48. Fourth place, Cory Poole, junior, 52.07.
800-meter run: Fourth place, sophomore Immyouri Etienne, 2:01.75.
55-meter hurdles: Second place, Lindo, 7.85.
4×400-meter relay: First place, senior Ricardo Loveluck, Lindo, junior Willesly Lindo, Etienne, 3:29.82.
High jump: First place, Jenkins, 6 feet, 4 inches.
Girls
55-meter dash: Third place, senior Mary Pierre-Louis, 7.56.
55-meter hurdles: Fourth place, sophomore Kevaray Gilette, 9.07.
