EAST ORANGE, NJ — Several East Orange Campus High School senior football players announced their college choices during a ceremony at EOCHS on Feb. 5.

They include:

Nasir Montgomery, wide receiver, Rutgers University

Ian Brown, free safety/wide receiver, Wagner College

Brandon Brown-Shaw, outside linebacker, Wagner College

Quadir Scott, slotback/strong safety, East Stroudsburg University

Manuel Bryant, running back/cornerback, Caldwell University

Keshawn Munford, offensive lineman/defensive lineman, Wesley College

Christian Johnson, offensive lineman/defensive lineman, Lincoln University

Nazaiah Edwards, offensive lineman/defensive tackle, Albright College

In a statement to The Record-Transcript, EOCHS head football coach Rae Oliver said, “I’m extremely happy for these young men. They are confident but humble student-athletes who have worked to maximize their opportunities and leverage their athletic success. They are some of the best representatives of the East Orange landscape. All of them are leaders in their own right, but have learned to put aside their personal goals for the goals of the team and city. Sky’s the limit for them. The best is yet to come!!!”

Editor’s note: This article corrected the school for Brandon Brown-Shaw. Also the article was updated to include the statement from coach Rae Oliver.
