EAST ORANGE, NJ – The East Orange Campus High School varsity football team is getting ready for the upcoming season.
The Jaguars, under second-year head coach Rae Oliver, hosted a preseason scrimmage on Friday, August 17, at Paul Robeson Stadium against North Bergen and Paterson Eastside.
EOCHS will host a game scrimmage against Newark Central on Friday, August 24, at 4 p.m.
The season opener is Friday, August 31, at home against Watchung Hills at 7 p.m.
The Jaguars started off 3-0 before finishing 6-4 last season. In the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2, Group 5 playoffs, EOCHS fell to Elizabeth, 26-7, in the quarterfinals at home. They blanked Barringer, 21-0, at home on Thanksgiving in the season finale.
