EAST ORANGE – East Orange Campus High School senior Charon Jenkins tied for ninth place in the boys’ high jump at the state indoor track and field Meet of Champions at the Bennett Complex in Toms River on Saturday, Feb. 27.
Jenkins leaped 6 feet, 2 inches. Four other athletes also tied for ninth place.
EOCHS sophomore Akeem Lindo took 11th in the preliminaries of the boys’ 55-meter dash in 6.61. Lindo did not make the finals.
