Genevieve McClean
NUTLEY – Former teammates and good friends Melanie Conca and Genevieve McClean are each on teams that won their district playoffs. Both teams will go to the USA Hockey National Championship Tournaments to pursue the highest title of their U14 age level. They will be competing against teams from across the country, including Alaska, Florida, Colorado and Minnesota.
Both girls started out playing for the Nutley Clifton Hockey Club. Melanie now plays for the New Jersey Colonials Hockey Club tier 1 team and Genevieve plays for the Montclair Hockey Club tier 2 blue team. Tryouts for the Montclair Girls Travel Teams are April 6-8.
